Join us on an adventure through the digestive system! The mischievous Antizyme is stirring up trouble in our friend Chef’s tummy and it’s up to you to stop him.

Through a series of interactive missions, you’ll:
*Help the chef munch on her lunch - with a time crunch in the mouth
*Experiment with “acids” and “bases” to prevent a fire in the stomach
*Play a Tower Defense-style game to absorb nutrients in the small intestine
*And push your way to the finish line, dodging bacteria for a healthy exit through the large intestine

Features:
*4 fun interactive mini-games of each organ
*Story about Zyme and his evil twin Antizyme
*Lots of levels to unlock in the small intestine
*Uncover how the human digestive system works
*A little animation at the end you don’t want to miss :)

Down With Food began as a multidisciplinary design project at the University of California, Irvine. United under a shared vision to make science more fun for kids, our team of PhD and undergraduate students created this app to be both educational and enjoyable for young learners. Our work has been funded by the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) and Mister Rogers Memorial Scholarship for our commitment to designing a research-based learning experience for children.
